COMPLAINING OF PAIN
A young girl goes to her doctor complaining of pain.
“Where are you hurting?”, asks the doctor.
“I hurt all over”, says the girl.
“What do you mean all over?”, asks the doctor. “Be a little bit more specific.”
The girl touches her right knee with the index finger and yells, “Ow, that hurts!”
Then she touches her left cheek and again yells, “Ouch! That hurts, too.”
Then she touches her right earlobe, “Ow, even that hurts,” she cried.
The doctor checks her thoughtfully for a moment and tells her his diagnosis,
“You have a broken finger”.
